Semestre 2013-1
1. Objetivos generales
En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán tanto habilidades receptivas (comprensión auditiva y comprensión de lectura) como productivas (producción oral y producción escrita) en lengua inglesa.
Al finalizar el semestre, el estudiante debe ser capaz de comprender frases y expresiones de uso frecuente relacionadas con información básica sobre sí mismo y su familia, las compras, lugares de interés, ocupaciones, etc.. También debe poder comunicarse para llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas cómo saludar, presentarse, llenar un formulario, expresar acuerdo, aceptar invitaciones, etc. Finalmente, debe ser capaz de describir en terminos sencillos aspectos de su pasado y su entorno.
2. Duración y horario
La materia se ofrece como parte integral del plan de estudios del bachillerato CCH durante el 3er. semestre y se imparte en 2 sesiones semanales de 2 horas c/u.
3. Métodos de enseñanza
Se combinará la cátedra del profesor con trabajo en el aula de manera individual, en parejas y, ocasionalmente, en pequeños grupos para el seguimiento y acompañamiento de los estudiantes. Una parte medular del curso la constituyen los diálogos, toda vez que reflejan el trabajo individual de los estudiantes y sirven para ayudarles a mejorar su pronunciación, dicción y fluidez. Éstos se modelarán y practicarán en clase y se evaluarán aleatoriamente.
4. Métodos de evaluación
El curso se evaluará de la siguiente manera:
• 2 exámenes (parcial y final) – 40%
• Diálogos (10) – 40%
• Tests de verbos irregulares (3) – 20%
Para tener derecho a sustentar los exámenes y ser evaluado, es necesario contar con 85% de asistencias al curso, es decir, el estudiante tiene derecho a 4 inasistencias en el semestre (justificadas o injustificadas). Después de la cuarta inasistencia, el estudiante causará baja de la clase.

Semestre 2012-2
1. Objetivos generales
En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán tanto habilidades receptivas (comprensión auditiva y comprensión de lectura) como productivas (producción oral y producción escrita) en lengua inglesa. El programa de la asignatura Inglés IV enfatiza el desarrollo de las estrategias y técnicas de lectura para leer textos auténticos en lengua inglesa, por lo que se asignará un espacio específico para desarrollar única y exclusivamente esta habilidad.
Al finalizar el año académico (3er. y 4to. Semestres), el estudiante debe ser capaz de comprender frases y expresiones de uso frecuente relacionadas con información básica sobre sí mismo y su familia, lugares de interés, ocupaciones, gustos y preferencias. También debe poder comunicarse para llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas cómo saludar, presentarse, formular y responder preguntas básicas, llenar un formulario, expresar acuerdo, aceptar invitaciones, etc. Finalmente, debe ser capaz de describir en términos sencillos aspectos de su pasado, su rutina y hablar sobre sus planes a futuro.
2. Duración y horario
La materia se ofrece como parte integral del plan de estudios del bachillerato CCH durante el 4to. semestre y se imparte en 2 sesiones semanales de 2 horas c/u.
3. Métodos de enseñanza
Se combinará la cátedra del profesor con trabajo en el aula de manera individual, en parejas y en pequeños grupos. Se dedicará semanalmente 1 hora a la enseñanza-aprendizaje-práctica de la comprensión de lectura y vocabulario. Esta sección de la clase se conducirá en español.
Los estudiantes llevarán a cabo diálogos durante los meses de febrero, marzo y abril. Cada mes habrá un sorteo que emparejará a los estudiantes con nuevos compañeros para realizar esta actividad. Se asignará un tiempo específico en la clase para que puedan practicar con su compañero del mes.
El trabajo de producción oral mediante diálogos busca recrear situaciones comunicativas que los estudiantes de bachillerato pueden afrontar en esta etapa de sus estudios / vida.
4. Métodos de evaluación
El curso se evaluará de la siguiente manera:
· Diálogos (10: calificación individual y en pareja) – 30%
· Controles de lectura (2) – 20%
· Tests de verbos irregulares (3) – 20%
· Examen de habilidad gramatical (1) – 20%
· Tareas* - 10%
Para tener derecho a sustentar los exámenes y los controles de lectura, es necesario contar con 85% de asistencias al curso, es decir, el estudiante tiene derecho a 4 inasistencias en el semestre. Si el estudiante falta a clase cuando haya un control de lectura / test de verbos, no habrá reposición posterior salvo que presente justificante médico de institución oficial (IMSS, ISSSTE, Pemex).
