2.- Watch the videos again and repeat the questions. Try to imitate the speakers. Don't forget about the RISING INTONATION in your questions. Your pronunciation will be much better if you follow this rule!
3.- Practice the questions and make sure you memorize them. You need to tell me the questions individually and then interact with your classmates.

Información general y programa de la asignatura
Semestre 2012-1
1. Objetivos generales
En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán tanto habilidades receptivas (comprensión auditiva y comprensión de lectura) como productivas (producción oral y producción escrita) en lengua inglesa.
Al finalizar el semestre, el estudiante debe ser capaz de comprender frases y expresiones de uso frecuente relacionadas con información básica sobre sí mismo y su familia, las compras, lugares de interés, ocupaciones, etc.. También debe poder comunicarse para llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas cómo saludar, presentarse, llenar un formulario, expresar acuerdo, aceptar invitaciones, etc. Finalmente, debe ser capaz de describir en terminos sencillos aspectos de su pasado y su entorno.
2. Duración y horario
La materia se ofrece como parte integral del plan de estudios del bachillerato CCH durante el 3er. semestre y se imparte en 2 sesiones semanales de 2 horas c/u.
3. Métodos de enseñanza
Se combinará la cátedra del profesor con trabajo en el aula de manera individual, en parejas y, ocasionalmente, en pequeños grupos para el seguimiento y acompañamiento de los estudiantes. Cada clase se asignará una pequeña tarea cuya finalidad principal es didáctica y de seguimiento. Si bien la resolución de tareas no incide en la calificación final, es importante señalar que éstas son parte esencial del proceso de aprendizaje y, por lo tanto, son un requisito para tener derecho a sustentar las evaluaciones.
4. Métodos de evaluación
El curso se evaluará de la siguiente manera:
• 2 exámenes (parcial y final) – 70%
• 2 presentaciones orales – 15%
• Tests de verbos irregulares (5) – 15%
Para tener derecho a sustentar los exámenes y ser evaluado, es necesario contar con 85% de asistencias al curso, es decir, el estudiante tiene derecho a 4 inasistencias en el semestre (justificadas o injustificadas).
