Entrevista

Proyecto Final

 

Los lineamientos para completar su proyecto final de la entrevista son los siguientes:

· Practicar muy bien las preguntas, aprendérselas. Su entrevista deberá incluir --- al menos --- 20 preguntas a saber: 4 personal, 3 in your free time, 3 every day, 3 what can you do? , 3 the past (be) & 4 past simple.

· Hay que tener cuidado con la pronunciación y entonación de las mismas. NOTA: Bajo NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA  se pueden leer las preguntas al momento de hacer la entrevista. Recuerden que este es un proyecto comunicativo y que cuando hablamos, no recurrimos a un script.  Si necesitan más sugerencias e ideas sobre cómo llevar a cabo esta tarea, pueden consultar el siguiente enlace:

· Deben entrevistar a una persona cuya lengua materna sea el inglés, es decir, no chinos, no franceses, no brasileños, rusas, etc. He aquí una liga en la que aparecen las naciones donde el inglés es lengua oficial:

· La interacción con su entrevistado(a) es importante, por lo que ustedes pueden y deben intervenir para que la conversación fluya y el proyecto sea verdaderamente comunicativo. En clase hemos repasado las técnicas de conversación que pueden utilizar para mostrar acuerdo, desacuerdo, sorpresa, etc.

· Una vez que hayan grabado su entrevista, deben subirla a http://www.youtube.com/ con el siguiente título: English Project:  tu nombre's interview CCH-Oriente.  Por ejemplo:  English Project: Abraham's interview CCH-Oriente.

· Después de subirla, deben mandar un correo a ingles.cchoriente@gmail.com, indicando el enlace de su entrevista. Por ejemplo:  "Hi, this is (your name)! You can find my interview on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_O0XysjRrI". Recuerden que la fecha límite para completar su proyecto es el 16 de noviembre de 2013.

· Revisaré su proyecto y les daré retroalimentación individual en la última sesión de clase: 20 de noviembre de 2013

Información general y programa de la asignatura

Semestre 2014-1

1. Objetivos generales

En este curso, los estudiantes desarrollarán tanto habilidades receptivas (comprensión auditiva y comprensión de lectura) como productivas (producción oral y producción escrita) en lengua inglesa.

Al finalizar el semestre, el estudiante debe ser capaz de comprender frases y expresiones de uso frecuente relacionadas con información básica sobre sí mismo y su familia, las compras, lugares de interés, ocupaciones, etc.. También debe poder comunicarse para llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas cómo saludar, presentarse, llenar un formulario, expresar acuerdo, aceptar invitaciones, etc. Finalmente, debe ser capaz de describir en términos sencillos aspectos de su pasado y su entorno.

Los exponentes lingüísticos que subyacen a las competencias comunicativas anteriormente descritas son los siguientes:

a) Verb To Be: simple present
b) Simple Present
c) Verb To Be: simple past
d) Simple Past
e) Simple Past (2): irregular verbs
f) Modal verbs: can, could, have to
g) Adjectives: simple, comparative & superlative forms
h) Adjectives: irregular forms


2. Duración

La materia se ofrece como parte integral del plan de estudios del bachillerato CCH durante el 3er. semestre y se imparte en 2 sesiones semanales.

3. Métodos de enseñanza

Se combinará la cátedra del profesor con trabajo en el aula de manera individual, en parejas y, ocasionalmente, en pequeños grupos para el seguimiento y acompañamiento de los estudiantes. Una parte medular del curso la constituyen los diálogos, toda vez que reflejan el trabajo individual de los estudiantes y sirven para ayudarles a mejorar su pronunciación, dicción y fluidez. Éstos se modelarán y practicarán en clase y se evaluarán en cuatro bloques distribuidos a lo largo del semestre.

4. Métodos de evaluación

El curso se evaluará de la siguiente manera:

•  2 exámenes (parcial y final) – 40%
•  Diálogos (8) – 30%
•  Tests sorpresa de verbos irregulares  (3)  – 15%
•  Tareas de pronunciación, quizzes y ejercicios en clase -- 15%

Para la entrega de tareas de pronunciación y quizzes, es necesario que el/la estudiante envíe un correo a ingles.cchoriente@gmail.com, a fin de que pueda, en primera instancia, recibir la invitación del profesor y, posteriormente, pueda subir las grabaciones y tareas a la plataforma de su grupo en el sitio Dropbox.

Por último, para tener derecho a sustentar los exámenes y ser evaluado, es necesario contar con 85% de asistencias al curso, es decir, el estudiante tiene derecho a 4 inasistencias en el semestre (justificadas o injustificadas). Después de la cuarta inasistencia, el estudiante causará baja de la clase.

Please note:  you don't need to write anything.  All you have to do is TALK, TALK TALK with an acceptable pronunciation.  Pronunciation is the most important aspect of this assignment.
